This Week … ending September 24

simplefaith_color_logoThe big news this week? We’re moving!

Monday afternoon we were issued our Certificate of Occupancy for our new “warehouse” location in the Blue Mountain Beach Industrial Park, so we are going to o occupy!   (See map below.)

DIRECTIONS: Turn north on Blue Mountain Road, at the new traffic light on Hwy 98.  Take the first left turn into Blue Mountain Beach Industrial Park.  We are in the first building on the left.  Park anywhere in the park, it is all common use.

THE BIG MOVE!!

Here is what we need from you!

  1. Volunteers to gather at the “old church” Saturday morning (September 24) at 8:00 AM to load chairs, materials, and furniture for the move; then unload all this at the new location – along with some additional new chairs purchased.
  2. Volunteers to clean and ready the “old church” for inspection. Bring your own cleaning supplies, vacuums, mops, etc. for this task.
  3. A couple of people who will coordinate signs and parking for Sunday, as well as post signage at the “old church” directing any Sunday worshippers to the new location.
  4. Show up Sunday at 10:00!

We won’t be moving again for some time – Oh, Lord please – so we wanted you to know where to find us. See you there!

VIDEO

“A Simple Faith” now on video!

For a number of years, many who attend A Simple Faith have asked for a video link to our Sunday gathering. Tourists, snowbirds, part-time residents – so on and so forth – want to stay connected when they are away. So, I am happy to let you know that the weekly gathering is now uploaded to YouTube each week. If you’d like to join us there, just click on A Simple Faith’s YouTube channel here.

Official: I am a published author, syndicated columnist, pastor, speaker, and musician. I have degrees in Christian History, Theology, and Ministry. I have been writing, speaking, leading congregations, and directing not-for-profits for more than two decades.

Unofficial: I love good stories, simple songs, strong coffee, and a shot (or two) of whiskey. On most days I am more agnostic than certain about life and faith. I’m “learning the unforced rhythms of grace” (I hope), and want others to do the same.
